Class Description
Level 1 Yoga - Level 1 Yoga is an introduction to the principles fundamentals of basic postures and yogic breathing. The class begins with a centering and is guided through basic yoga postures that invigorate the body with increased strength, flexibility and range of motion. Special attention is paid to easing into postures and finding proper alignment. Each class ends with a final, deep relaxation.
Open Yoga -Open yoga classes are truly for students of all levels who have a basic knowledge of yoga principles and postures. The open classes build on principles learned in Level 1 classes, combining asana instruction focused on body alignment with the practices of yogic breathing, meditation and relaxation. Modifications and enhancements will be offered for a fun and safe practice, empowering each individual to his or her most inspired and playful Self.
Restorative Yoga - Restorative yoga is suitable for any level student wishing to release the tensions, beginners, and students with some restricted movement or minor health conditions. This class will focus on mindful stretching, breathing techniques, and use of props to allow us to release, relax, and gently bring ourselves into alignment with our true nature.
Prenatal Yoga - Prenatal yoga is a gentle, safe, and supportive class in which the classic yoga postures are modified for the changing needs of the expectant mother. Focus is on developing strength, flexibility, proper breathing, and an inner peace as preparation for birth and motherhood. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
